Introduction

This was my father inlaws recipe and our whole family loves it. It is about medium heat but can be made hotter by adding more spices. This was my father inlaws recipe and our whole family loves it. It is about medium heat but can be made hotter by adding more spices.

Pretty good. I used a 14 oz. can of crushed tomatoes and a can of Rotel w/lime, cilantro, and jalapenos instead of the tomato sauce and paste. Also, I added 1/2 tsp. cumin, and I usually use oregano rather than basil w/chili. - 9/29/08

This was very good. I doubled the recipe as I wanted to freeze meals for later use. I added a variety of different beans that I already had on hand. Fantastic! - 5/25/10

Substituted the ground beef with ground buffalo/bison. Much less fat and healthier for you! YUM! Only added 6 hot sauce dashes but added a chopped jalepeno. Added an extra can of beans and a can of diced tomatoes. Will make again, thanks! - 11/8/08
