Ingredients

    1 lb. Lean ground beef
    1/2 large onion
    1/4 tsp. garlic clove, minced
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 tsp olive oil
    4 c. water
    1 can (10 1/2 oz.) beef consomme
    2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 c. frozen cut green beans
    3 c. broken wheat spaghetti, cooked
    2 tsp. instant beef boullion granules
    2 tsp. parsley flakes
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1 can (8 oz.) HUNTS no salt added tomato sauce
    1 can petite diced tomatoes (15 1/2 oz.)
    1 tsp. oregano

Directions

In medium sauce pan cook spaghetti as directed on package. While that is cooking, in large sauce pan combine beef, onion, garlic, celery and oil. Cook about 3 minutes until meat is no longer pink. Drain. Add remaining ingredients, including cooked spaghetti. Simmer for 20 minutes, or until celery is tender, stirring occasionally.
