Ingredients

    4 whole wheat or oatbran pita pockets
    3/4 cup bottles marinara sause
    2 tablespoons grated non-fat or regular Parmaesan cheese
    1 cup shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
    1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
    2 thin slices onion, separated into rings.
    1 teasoon dried basil, oregano or other Italian seasonings

Directions

Arrange pita on a flat serface. Spread 3 Tbls of marinara sauce on each pitas. Top with a quarter of the Parmasan cheese. Follow with a quarter of the vegetables and seasonings. Top with the mozzerella cheese.

Arrange the pitas on a baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for about 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned. Cut each pita into 6 pieces, transfer to a serving platter and serve warm.
