Introduction

Soup made from the stuff in my freezer Soup made from the stuff in my freezer
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    In my freezer I found:
    - 1/4 cup pesto sauce
    - 1/2 cup tomato paste
    - 1 cup peas
    - Leftover black beans and rice (actually was Davie's black beans and whole grain brown rice -- a recipe I found on here)
    - Leftover chicken sandwich filling (made of 4 chicken breasts, 1 c. zucchini sliced, 1 c. yellow squash sliced, and a little pesto)

    To this I also added:
    1 can black beans
1 14 oz. can of chicken broth

Directions

Thaw everything from the freezer and put in a big crockpot. Add the black bean and the chicken broth. Add any spices you might feel necessary or tasty. :) Turn on the crockpot and cook on hi for 5 - 6 hours or until everything is cooked through.

Makes a lot of soup...for the nutritional info, I used 10 servings...but it might be more. It's a lot of soup.
