Ingredients

    8 cups 2% milk
    1/2 cup nonfat powdered milk
    1/2 cup whole milk yogurt w/live cultures

Directions

Turn your crockpot to low. Add the milk and heat in crockpot for 2 1/2 hours. Next, unplug the crockpot and let everything sit for 3 hours. Remove 2 cups of the milk to a bowl and whisk in the milk powder and the yogurt. Return to the crockpot and stir to combine. Cover crockpot completely with a bath towel or two and let sit for 8 hours.

    I did this with just skim milk and a plain greek yogurt starter and I can't believe how yummy it is!! I've got it straining in the fridge to thicken it up to Greek-style. - 4/21/10
