Introduction
This soft, nutritional breakfast bar is great if you are trying to lose weight or lower cholesterol and the kids will love them too.This recipe makes 30 bars so there are plenty to go around.

Ingredients

3 Cups Quick-cooking Oatmeal
3 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
2 tsps. Baking Soda
1 tbsp. Vanilla Extract,
.5 cups Wheat bran
2 tsps. Salt
1 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
1 cup Splenda No Calorie Sweetener
2 tbps. Pumpkin Pie spice
1.5 cups Applesauce, unsweetened
.5 cups Peanut Butter, smooth or chunky
1 cup Raisins, packed
.5 cup Egg white substitute, liquid
Directions
makes 24 bars
Preheat oven to 375.
In large bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix well. In separate bowl blend extract, egg whites, applesauce and peanut butter until smooth. Add raisins to dry mixture and stir to coat. Add liquids to dry indresients and mix until well moistened.
Lightly spray 2, 9X13 baking pans with non-stick spray. put half of mixture in each pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. let cool and cut each one into 12 pieces. Wrap in plastic wrap or place in airtight containers.
Can add almost anything for variety such as dried fruits, nuts or sugar free chocolate chips.
