Ingredients

1C Almonds, slivered
2 1/4 C. White wheat flour or you can use regular flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground Cardamom
1/2 C *Shortening butter flavored ( gives cookies an extra buttery flavor
1/2 C. Marganine low fat
3/4 C. Splenda for baking
1 Lg. Egg
2 Tbsp. non-fat Milk
Directions
Makes 108 differntent shape cookies
1. Heat oven to 350. In a food processor or blender, place almonds, Cover; process until almonds are finely ground. Set aside
2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, salt, Cardamom; set aside. In a large bowl, beat shortening,butter and sugar with an electric mixer on meduim speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and milk. On low speed, beat in the almonds and flour mixture until well blended.
3 Attach desired template to cookie press; place dough in cookie press. On ungreased cookie sheets; press dough into desired shapes.
4. Bake 7 to 10 mins. or until set ans bottoms are golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie shhet to cool. Repeat until all dough is used and using different shapes if desired depending on the occasion.
