    1.25 C sugar
    1 C butter
    2.5 t. baking powder
    .5 t. baking soda
    1 t. salt
    2 t. nutmeg
    1/5 package currents (about 1.5 C unpacked)
    1 egg
    .75 C milk (1%)

Directions

Mix dry ingredients. Add butter, cutting in with pastry cutter until the size of peas. Add currents, egg, and milk. Mix well. Roll out on a floured board and cut with a 2.5 inch cookie cutter.
