Ingredients

    2 1/2 cups flour
    4 teaspoons baking powder
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    2 1/4 cup milk
    3/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions

In a large bowl, add the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir to combine.

In another bowl, mix the eggs, milk and vegetable oil well.

Add the liquid mixture to the flour mixture and stir to combine. Cook according to the waffle iron's instructions.

    Awesome wafffle recipe. I made them with 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce in place for the oil. It cuts the calorie and fats significantly without getting rid of the moistness that oil provides. I also replaced 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour for whole wheat flour. Mine made 18 single waffles. - 11/4/12

    Great! My waffle maker makes 18 waffles, so my serving per waffle is 2/3. It's too bad SP doesn't let you adjust the servings per recipe, that would make it so much easier.
