Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    6 truss tomatoes,
    2 medium brown onions
    2 cloves garlic
    500g minced (ground) turkey
    1/2 cup of red wine
red pepper and chili relish (podravka brand)
1 cup of vege stock ( I used Vegeta powder in a little water)
    Olive oil, 2 tabs
    Dried basil, 1/2 a tabs
    cracked pepper, 1/2 tsp
    tomato paste, 1 tabs
    Wholemeal pasta, 4 cups cooked

Directions

Use food processor to whizz up the tomatoes and onions to a puree. Leave aside.

Meanwhile, fry the turkey in olive oil, adding the rest of the ingredients (except pasta) leaving the wet ingredients last.

Add the tomato/onion mix and cook gently for about twenty minutes, to reduce the stock and sauce. The mixture should be a nice deep red. Don't burn.

Serve with wholemeal pasta.
