Ingredients

    (4) 5oz. pc. fresh Ahui Tuna 1-1/4" thick.
    2 tbsp Miso Paste
    1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
    2 tsp sesame oil
    1 tsp chili garlic sauce (Asian)
    1 tbsp honey
    1 tbsp fresh ginger root, minced
    3 tbsp scallion, finely chopped
    6" Daikon root, cut into 1/8" thick sticks, I often substitute with apple.
    4 tbsp Soy Sauce
    Black Pepper

Directions

Place tuna in a disk and marinade in soy sauce and black pepper.
To make sauce, mix miso, sesame oil, chili sauce, honey, ginger, rice wine vinegar, and scallion in a bowl.
Heat saute pan on high and add olive oil. Sear tune for 2 minutes on first side and one on second. Divide the sauce between four plates. Plate tuna and daikon and serve.
