Introduction

These are one of my favorite cocktail party foods! The guys love them for football too! These are one of my favorite cocktail party foods! The guys love them for football too!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    White Mushrooms, 1 package, usually about 12
    3 oz. Shredded, Part Skim Milk Mozzarella
    Philadelphia 1/3 Less Fat Cream Cheese, 1/2 package
    5 slices Precooked Bacon
    1 teaspoon Horseradish
    1 tablespoon chopped Scallions

Directions

Soften cream cheese in microwave for 15 seconds. Chop bacon and scallions into small pieces, combine in a bowl with mozzarella, horseradish and cream cheese. Mix well.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Clean mushrooms and remove stems. Place caps, hollowed out side up on a baking sheet.

Spoon the filling into each cap. Fill caps evenly until all the filling is used.

Place baking sheet in oven until the juices start to run from bottom of caps, about 10 minutes.

    Incredible!
    I added more horseradish as the other review suggested and some breadcrumbs just because I always do. What a great idea- horseradish, never had tried it with mushrooms - 8/19/10

    Good
    This was pretty good. Needs more mozzarella cheese and less cream cheese. Maybe more horseradish too. I couldn't taste it. I'll probably make this again. - 6/4/10
