Introduction

Ingredients

Kidney Beans - 2 cup
Onion - 1.5 medium (Chopped)
Tomato - 1 large (Chopped)
Green Chillies- 1 or2 as per taste
Ginger - 1tsp grated
garlic - 2 cloves (crushed)
cumin - 1 tsp
red chilli powder - 0.5 tsp
salt - 2 tsp
turmeric powder - 0.5 tsp
Olive Oil - 2 tbsp
Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
Directions
Soak kidney beans in 4 cups of water overnight. In the morning presuure cook them with little salt (0.5 tsp), some turmeric, and 0.5 tbsp olive oil.
Crush onion and tomato separately in food processor. Finely cut green chillies. In a pan take some oil and heat. When the il is hot add green chillies, ginger, garlic and cumin seeds. Suate for few seconds and add onion. Roast till it is golden brown. Then add turmeric and tomatoes. Roats for a little while. If you like a salty/sweet taste add 0.5 tsp sugar now. Add all the other spices: CHillie powder, coriander powder and salt. Then add this to the boiled kidney beans. Add water accordingly. Pressure Cook for 6-7 mins.
Served hot with Basmati Rice.
