Introduction

This is a fruit Iced drink made with all natural ingredients. We were looking for something refreshing after a workout and had some kiwi that needed to be eaten before it went bad so I put together this smoothie with some of the fruit in our kitchen. This is a fruit Iced drink made with all natural ingredients. We were looking for something refreshing after a workout and had some kiwi that needed to be eaten before it went bad so I put together this smoothie with some of the fruit in our kitchen.

Ingredients

    1 small banana (peeled)
    2 medium kiwi fruit, no skin
    1/2 cup Musselman's Unsweetened Apple Sauce
    approximately 3 tbsps of sugar
    3 cups of ice

Directions

Take the banana, kiwi, applesauce and ice and add to a blender.
Puree on high for 3 minutes
Add sugar and mix for an additional minute on low.

Pour into cups and enjoy! Can substitute splenda for the sugar but I couldn't because of a Splenda allergy.

    This was really good. I used a small apple rather than the apple sauce and omitted the sugar. Great for breakfast! - 3/3/12
