I wanted a semi creamy sauce for rice but without the cream of something soup I wanted a semi creamy sauce for rice but without the cream of something soup
Number of Servings: 4

    14 Oz of Pork Chops
    half a small onion
    3 or cloves garlic, minced
    3.5 Oz white wine
    3 oz heavy whipping cream

Brown pork in a skillet. To crockpot add onion cut into large chunks, add pork ontop of the onion. Add garlic ontop of the pork. Pour in the wine, and add some water until just about covering pork chops. Put on low or 6-8 hours. When about to sever remove pork and onions and tansfer to a plate. Add cream to liquid left in the pot, stir to incorporate, turn up the heat and let reduce for a while. Put pork and onions back in pot. Serve pork with some of the sauce. Would be nice over rice or noodles (not included in nutrition info).

  • I'm wondering why you would remove the pork and onions out to add the cream, then put the pork and onions back into the pot. Is there a reason for this? - 1/25/09
