Introduction

I got this recipe from the crockpot cookbook I bought. It was so easy and so good! Can easily be frozen whole or sliced into servings and frozen for breakfast on the go. I added extra banana (because I had them..) and so mine was pretty dense and mushy, but YUMMY and such a cool way to cook banana bread! I used smart beat butter spread instead of butter. Very cool. :) - 3/5/09

Great recipe. I added the walnuts. It rose up nicely, smelled great cooking and was super easy. Thanks! I think I will slice it in smaller pieces though, an eighth if it is a huge piece of bread. - 3/6/09

I'm glad you liked it! I only had wheat flour but it called for white in the recipe. I'm going to try walnuts next time too!
