Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    * 1 1/3 c prune puree
    * 2 eggs
    * 1/2 c milk
    * 3/4 cup chopped dates
    * 2 tsp vanilla
    * 1/2 c cocoa
    * 1 c fine whole wheat flour
    * 1/2 tsp each: salt, baking powder



Directions

Combine the following ingredients in a blender or food processor:

* 1 1/3 c prune puree (soak prunes in very hot water for 10 minutes or more)
* 2 eggs
* 1/2 c milk (or substitute)
* 3/4 cup chopped dates
* 2 tsp vanilla
* 1/2 c cocoa

Combine separately:

* 1 c fine whole wheat flour
* 1/2 tsp each: salt, baking powder

Mix wet and dry ingredients, then bake in a well-greased square pan for about 35 minutes at 350.
