Ingredients

1 1/2 cup rinsed dried lentils
3 1/2 cup water
2 onions
2 cups cooked rice
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1 tsp sage
1/2 tsp marjoram
Directions
Cook 1 1/2 cups rinsed lentils in 3 1/2 cups water until tender (about 30 minutes). Saute onion and garlic in a pan with a spray of Pam until cooked fully. Mash cooked lentils and add cooked onions and garlic. Add rice, salt, tomato sauce, sage and marjoram and mix well. Press into a loaf pan that has been lightly sprayed with Pam. You may wish to top with additional tomato sauce or ketchup depending on your tastes. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Makes 6 hearty servings.
