Ingredients

    14 cups water
    Beans, great northern 2 lbs dried
    Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    turkey bacon 16 slices
    Salt, to taste
    Pepper, black, to taste

Directions

Soak beans. Cook, drain and crumble bacon. Add to beans, along with chopped onions. Season to taste. Cook until beans are tender.
