Introduction

My husband and I had this pizza at a local restaurant and we loved it. The salty, tangy gorgonzola works well against the sweeetness of the honey and the pears. Ingredients

1 bag frozen Whole Wheat Pizza Dough (Stop and Shop)
1 Cup Pear, peeled and sliced thin
1/3 Cup Stella Reduced Fat Blue Cheese Crumbles
    2 tbsp honey
    1/2 tablespoon oilive oil

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Thaw the dough and roll it out flat to fit a standard pizza pan. (Note: I prefer the metal pizza pan with the holes in it to a standard pizza stone. There's no need to oil the pan if it's nonstick and that saves calories!)

Form the dough to the pizza pan.

Spread the honey over the dough in a thin layer (it helps to have the honey heated up a bit),

Lay the pear slices on the pizza, making sure not to get more than 1/4" from the edges and spreading them all over. If they're too concentrated in the middle of the pizza, the slices will be harder to hold without everything falling off).

Sprinkle the pizza with the cheese.

With your fingers, spread the olive oil around the edges of the crust in a thin layer. This helps the edges to get a little crispy.

Bake the pizza at 350 degrees for approximately 25 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
