Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    *Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 1 tbsp
    Applesauce, unsweetened, .25 cup
    Granulated Sugar, .5 cup
    *Eggland's Best Large Egg, 2 serving
    *Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, calcium-fortified, 1.75 cup
    Baking Powder, 2 tsp
    Salt, .5 tsp
    Baking Soda, .25 tsp
    Banana, fresh, 3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long)
    Pecans, .5 cup, chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F. Combine wet ingredients and set aside. Whisk together dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients. Fold in nuts, pour into greased 8X4 baking pan and bake at 350F for 1 hour. Cool before serving. Makes 8 thick slices for breakfast, or 16 thin slices for a small snack. Enjoy some cold, skim milk with this warm treat!
