Introduction

Ingredients

    2 C Black Beans
    2 C small White Beans or navy beans
    16 oz. Pork Tenderloin
    1 onion sliced
    3 cloves minced garlic
    2 TBSP dried basil
    2 TBSP dried oregano
    1 TBSP salt
    2 or 3 bay leaves
    (you can susbsitute salt for garlic powder and dried italian seasoning for the basil and oregano)

Directions

Soak black and white beans overnight. Drain and rinse.
Slice onions and place in the slow cooker
Place pork tenderloin in slow cooker.
Mix in seasons and add water either just covering to about 1 inch above the level of beans depending on how thick or watery you want it.
Cook in crockpot on low for 8 hours.
These beans are great as a soup, or thicker as beans. Can be served with cornbread and sour cream also.
This makes great left overs that you can use for awesome burritos.
