Ingredients

    You will need one ripe mango, one 3/4 inch slice of fresh **pineapple, 1 1/3 cups of low fat ***vanilla yogurt (I used Dannon All Natural) and one cup of crushed ice.

    **Pineapple is optional.

    *** If you use plain unflavored yogurt, you may want to add honey or a few drops of stavia to sweeten to taste.

Directions

Peel mango and remove center seed and cut into medium size pieces. Add to food processor or Vita Mix. Cut up slice of pineapple and add to food processor. Add 1 1/3 cups of low fat yogurt. Add one cup of crushed ice. Blend and low to medium speed til smooth. Pour into two large glasses and serve immediate.

Recipe makes 2 generous 12 ounce servings or 4 8 ounce servings.

    It was good, but I substituted the dannon yogurt for non-fat greek yogurt, and bought the frozen mango & pineapple from traderjoes & added 1/8 tsp rum extract and stevia! Reminded me of a pina colada! - 3/13/07
