This is a savory, weight-loss friendly spaghetti sauce. This is a savory, weight-loss friendly spaghetti sauce.
Number of Servings: 6


    1 lb. Italian-seasoned Ground Turkey
    1/2 c. each chopped green peppers and onion
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
    1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
    1 6 oz. can tomato paste
    1 tsp. each dried basil & oregano
    1 tsp. Splenda
    Salt & pepper to taste


Brown ground turkey until no longer pink. Chop onions & peppers. Slice mushrooms. Mince garlic. Add all to ground turkey. Add all tomato products. Add dried basil, dried oregano, and Splenda. Salt & pepper to taste.
Simmer for at least 30 minutes, but longer is better.
Makes 6 1-cup servings.
