Ingredients

    2 cans tuna (water packed)
    1 can mushrooms
    1 can chicken broth
    2 T butter
    2 T flour
    4 cups cooked spaghetti (broken into pieces)
    1/3 cup lite or reduced fat sour cream
    2 cups fresh asparagus (bite size pieces)

Directions

Bring water to a boil to partially cook pasta. (For flavor I poured the water off the tuna and mushrooms into the pasta water as well.) Melt butter add flour, simmer to make a rue. Add chicken broth and simmer approximately 5 minutes. Add tuna, mushrooms and any seasonings. Drain partially cooked pasta add to tuna mixture. Simmer 10 minutes uncovered. Stir in sour cream. About 5 minutes before serving add chopped asparagus, cover and continue simmering 5 minutes. Season to taste.

Makes 6 large servings.
