Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 egg beaten
    1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
    1/4 cup milk
    1/4 cup diced onions
    1 TBSP diced celery
    1/4 cup diced green pepper
    1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    1 TBSP ketchup
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp dry oregano
    1/4 tsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp onion powder

    2 TBSP more of ketchup to top meatloaf at end



Directions

Mix all ingredients in a bowl (except of the last 2 TBSP of ketchup). Heat oven to 350 degrees. Use cooking spray to grease a loaf pan or a small baking dish. Pat the mixture into the pan and bake for 45-50 minutes until it is no longer pink. Top meatloaf with the 2 TBSP ketchup and bake for 5 additional minutes. Slice meatloaf into 5 equal slices. This is delicious and goes over well with kids and adults alike.

    I used an Ice Cream Scooper to make 2 ounce balls to bake in the oven...much easier to control portions. - 3/22/09

    Incredible!
    This was a really delicious meatloaf! I added a bit more ketchup to the mixture because my husband really likes ketchup. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly and it was terrific! - 6/25/14
