Ingredients

    2 cups steal oats
    4 cups water
    1 cup skim milk
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 Tablespoon of vanilla
    1 cup of organic topical mix dries fruit mix (banana chips , pinapple, cocnut cashew, and almonds)


Directions

place oats,water,milk and dried fruit mix in a slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours. (overnight)
Just before servering stir in Sugar and vanilla ( if you add it in before it will burn)

    Very good. Made half: 1 c steel cut oats, 2 c water, 1/2 c skim milk, 2 Tbsp br. sugar, 1.5 tsp vanilla ext. and 1/2 c pineapple tidbits. I soaked oats in water & milk overnight, brought to hot and simmered 1 hr, added pineapple, sugar, & vanilla. =3 c cooked = six 1/2c serv=140cal each. - 9/28/09
