Introduction

I make this salsa for my family and it is always a huge hit. I have served it with several different meals and works great with chicken, fish, mexidan food (of course) as well as a great topper for salads, potatos and eggs. I have served it with several different meals and works great with chicken, fish, mexidan food (of course) as well as a great topper for salads, potatos and eggs.

Ingredients

    Tomato
    Bell Peppers - all colours
    Onions - red and yellow
    Jalapeno peppers
    Crushed garlic
    Spicy tomato sauce
    Cumin
    Chili Powder
    Oregano

Directions

Carefully desead peppers. Chop the tomato, onion and peppers into small pieces and combine in a bowl. Add tomato sauce, chopped garlic and spices. Store in fridge stirring occassionally. Remove from fridge 1/2 hour before use and stir well. This salsa will last for at least a week in the fridge and can be frozen.

    I was happy when I saw "home made salsa" then we have to use toamto sauce and it doesn't tell how to make it. Well maybe one day a real home made salsa will be posted. - 3/23/09
