Introduction
I posted a earlier simpler recipe for cheesy eggs. This is just an extension of that recipe I posted a earlier simpler recipe for cheesy eggs. This is just an extension of that recipeNumber of Servings: 3
Ingredients
-
Egg, fresh, 6 large
Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
Mushrooms, fresh, .5 cup, pieces or slices
Milk, 1%, .5 cup
Garlic, 2 clove
Kraft Free American Cheese Singles, 3 slices
Directions
This fed my wife and I and our two little girls. So estimate it is about 3 servings.
1) Heat up a pan with olive oil
2) Dice the onions, mushrooms, and garlic
3) Put the diced up onions, mushrooms, and garlic into the pan and brown
4) While you are browning the onions, mushrooms, and garlic break the eggs into a bowl and add salt and pepper as desired. I use a little milk to make them a little creamier.
5) Remove the onions, mushrooms, and garlic into a bowl and put the eggs into the pan.
6) Once the eggs have begun to scramble then put the mushrooms, onions, and garlic into the eggs
7) Finally once the eggs are scrambled lay some cheese on top and let it melt
This goes great with a salsa and tortilla.
