    1 cup white flour
    1 cup whole wheat four
    3 tbsp butter
    3 tbsp unsweetended applesauce
    3 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp cinnamon
    2 eggs
    4 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Mix all ingredients together. Cook in a waffle iron.

    O.K.
    batter was more like a dough (very very dry). We added apple cider (because we didn't have milk) to make it more batter like and turned out okay. - 1/21/11
