Introduction

Ingredients

1 cup long grain rice
2 whole chicken breasts, split, skinned and boned
1/4 tp garlic salt
2 tbls margarine
1/2 cup sliced green onions with tops
1 cup picante sauce
4 oz processed cheese spread, diced
Directions
Prepare rice according to directions, omitting oil and salt.
Sprinkle chicken with garlic salt. Melt margarine in large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; cook about 5 minutes. Turn chicken over and add green onions to the pan. Cook an additional 5 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Place rice on serving platter. Remove chicken and onions from skillet and place over rice; keep warm.
Add picante sauce and cheese spread to skillet. Cook and stir til cheese is melted and mixture is hot. Pour cheese sauce over chicken.
