Introduction
I took a basic brownie recipe, substituted half of the butter with applesauce, took out an egg, decreased the sugar by 1/4, and added oatmeal. Three friends found them to be very moist, chocolatey and just sweet enough; 5 kids just wolfed them down. As for myself, a self-proclaimed chocoholic, they were very adequate as a chocolate-fix.
