Brown Rice
Red Dates - You may choose to add in more dates.
Mince Pork
Directions
1. Soak the brown rice in water until soft, so that it will be easier to cook.
2. Separately soak the dried red dates until soft to make cooking easier.
3. Boil the rice and red dates together to sufficient water to make porrige.
4. Add in mince pork, formed into balls, when the porridge is cooked.
* You may choose to season the pork first before adding to the porridge.
* Adding some vegetables in which up its nutritional value!

this was very simple but tasty not everyone liked it but i loved it and will be doing it again - 4/13/09

I hated it, since I was a kid. I've just started eating it only like a mth back! I guess it's how you prepare the meal that makes or breaks the dish! When my mum made it for the 1st time, I was like 'Ew... Yuck!' but my girl was around, I had to put a brave front and try. Luckily, it was YUMMY! :)
