Ingredients

    2 slices of multi grain bread
    2 tsp margarine
    1 tsp mustard
    2 oz Swiss cheese
    1/2 red apple, not peeled, sliced thinly
    Lettuce
    Alfalfa sprouts

Directions

Spread margarine on bread
Put one slice in a non-stick pan with the buttered side on the bottom.
Spread mustard, then add one slice of cheese, apple slices, lettuce and finally the other slice of cheese.
Put the other slice of bread with the buttered side on top.
Brown both sides of the sandwich until golden and the cheese is melted.
For added variety, replace apple slices with fresh pear slices.

    Very Good
    I used cheddar and no sprouts (might have to buy them for next time.) I'll make this again but not too ofetn due to the high calorie count. - 10/13/11
