Introduction
Crock Pot Style Crock Pot StyleNumber of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
Organic Chicken or Beef Broth
3-4 cups Organic Carrots
2-3 cups Organic Red Potatoes
3-4 cups Organic Celery
1-2 cups Organic Onions(diced)
1-2 cups Organic Green Onions
Smoked Sea Salt(enough to cover bottom of pot)
Directions
Place crock pot on high temperature, add sea salt, and filtered water to cover the bottom of the pot.
Start chopping up all your vegetables to your liking.
I like to chop my vegetables no more than 2 inches in size. Now head back to your crock pot and add your broth. I let this simmer for 1 hour, and then I start adding my veggies randomly.
I place my carrots and celery first for 30 minutes with the lid on. Then I place my potatoes, onions, green onions and let that addition set for another 30 minutes with lid on.
I stir around and let in cook for 2 1/2 hours or so.
I like my vegetables to have a slight crunch to them, so once it cooks to my liking I set my crock pot on warm and leave it for the rest of the day.
GREAT LUNCH AND SUPPER MEAL!
