Ingredients

    1/4C Butter
    1/2C Brown Sugar
    1/3C Granulated Sugar
    1tsp. Cinnamon
    1/2tsp. Baking Soda
    1/8tsp. Salt
    1 Egg
    1tsp Vanilla
    1/2C Whole Wheat Flour
    1/4C All-Purpose Flour
    3/4C Rolled Oats
    1/4C Flax Seed Meal
    1/4C Wheat Germ
    2oz Dark Chocolate, Finely Chopped
    1/4C Dried Cranberries
    1/4C Chopped Walnuts, Toasted

Directions

Preheat oven to 350
In mixing bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds on medium-high speed. add sugars, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Beat too combine. Beat in egg and vanilla, then flours.
Stir in oats, flax seed meal, wheat germ, chocolate, cranberries and walnuts. Dough will be crumbly.
Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until tops are lightly browned
Makes about 30 cookies.
Or for larger- drop spoonfuls and get about 15 cookies. Bake for 11-12 minutes
