Ingredients

1 red onion, diced
160g mushrooms, diced
320g tomatoes (approx 4 large), diced
1 can tuna
100g brown rice
100g green beans
2 tsp olive oil
cardamoms
cloves
black peppercorns
ground cinnamon
ground cloves
ground turmeric
garam masala
black pepper
Directions
Put rice on to boil with 2 or 3 cardamoms, 6-8 cloves, 6-8 peppercorns and 1/2 tsp turmeric.
Heat oil in a pan. Add dashes of black pepper, ground cloves, ground cinnamon and garam masala.
Heat spices for 30 seconds then add onions and mix.
Cook for 2-3 minutes, then add mushrooms and half the tomatoes and mix.
Cook for 10 mins until soft.
Add tuna and the rest of the tomatoes and heat through.
Five minutes before the rice is done, add the green beans to the cooking water.
When the rice is cooked, drain, pick out the whole spices if you can, and stir the rice into the tuna mixture.
Serve!
I highly recommend serving this with wedges of hard boiled egg - yum!
