Introduction

Middle East, easy dish.

Recipe called for 4 pieces of fish, but I only needed 3 servings, the only difference in recipe is I only cooked 3 instead of 4, everything else the same.

Ingredients

1 lg bunch cilantro chopped, 3 garlic cloves minced, 2-3 tomatoes chopped, 3 or 4 sea bass or any white fish fillets, 1/8 cup olive oil, 1 tbs paprika, 1 tsp chicken bouillon granules, 1/2 tsp cumin, turmeric, pepper and 2-3 cups water.

Recipe called for 1/4 cup olive oil but I reduced it to 1/8 cup.

Directions

Spread cilantro evenly over bottoms of heavy Dutch oven. Sprinkle with garlic; arrange tomatoes over. Set fish atop tomatoes. Whisk oil, and spices and pour over fish. Add enough water to pot to reach bottom of fish. Bring water to boil over high heat. Cover pot, reduce heat to medium low, and simmer until fish is just cooked through, about 10 minutes. Using large spatula, transfer fish and vegetable to platter, spoon some cooking liquid over and serve.

    Incredible!
Best fish dish I have ever eaten. Easy to make one dish winner. I love the subtle flavor. We serve it with wild rice pilaf. - 10/17/15
