Introduction
This is wonderful, fresh dessert for the summer. Any summer berries could be substituted. I usually use sugar-free angel food you can get at Walmart and day old works great. Ingredients
-
8 oz. fat free cream cheese, room temp.
small box vanilla instant pudding, not prepared
1.25 c. nonfat milk
1 c. coolwhip, light
3 peaches, peeled and sliced
1 c. blueberries
small angelfood cake, sliced 1/2 in. thick
Directions
Combine:
cream cheese, pudding mix, and milk. Mix until smooth.
Set aside.
In a 9 in. square pan put a layer of sliced cake. You should use half of the cake at this time. Spread 2/3 of the pudding mixture on top of cake. Sprinkle 1/2 the blueberries on pudding mixture and layer half the peach slices on top. In the remaining pudding mixture add the coolwhip and combine.
On top of fruit add the last layer of cake, blueberries, and peaches. Top with the remaining pudding mixture.
(If this is an adults only party you can drizzle a little of your favorite fruit flavored liquor on the cake.)
You may garnish with a few blueberries and peach slices.
