    3/4 Cup White Sugar
    3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
    1 Cup Oil
    2 Eggs
    1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    2 1/4 Cup Flour
    1 Cup Chocolate Chips


Combine sugars well. Mix in oil and eggs. Add vanilla, baking soda, and salt. Mix in flour and chocolate chips last. Bake 8-9 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

Makes about 70-80 1-2 inch cookies

    The dough came out very oily and didn't hold together. The oil measurement is definitely out of proportion. Flavor was good, but the cookie itself? Incredibly oily! Kinda yuck! - 7/28/09

  • I tried these cookies but I substituted sweet and low (18 packets total) for the sugar, maple syrup for the brown sugar -only 1/2 cup,4 tbsp of butter and 1/4 cup applesauce instead of oil.3 egg whites instead of 2 eggs everything else I kept the same. My husband and kids loved the cookies.Cakelike - 11/18/09
