Ingredients

    1 cup Bob's Red Mill Wheat Bran
    1 1/2 cups Bob's Red Mill Wheat Flour
    1/2 cup raisins
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp soda
    3/4 cup milk
    1/2 cup molasses or honey
    2 Tbsp Oil
    1 Egg, beaten
    1/2 applesauce (optional)
    1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

Stir together: bran, flour, soda, & baking powder. Then stir in raisins & set aside. Blend milk, molasses, oil, & egg. Add to dry ingredients and stir JUST UNTIL MOISTENED. Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake in preheated 400 oven for 15 minutes or until muffins pull away from sides of cups.
