Ingredients

    1/4 c. flax seed
    3/4 c. whole wheat graham flour
    3/4 c. white flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of cinnamon
    1 large egg- beaten
    1-1/2 c. finely chopped granny smith apples
    3 TBsp vegetable oil
    1/2 c. milk (Whole milk used in calculations)
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

mix dry ingredients until blended, add the rest of the ingredients and stir until thoroughly blended. Scoop into lined muffin tins and bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes
