Ingredients
-
250ml fat free greek yoghurt
2 tbsp sugar
300g white flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
3 tbsp olive oil
1 egg (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Whisk the yoghurt with the olive oil until smooth.
2. Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together. Make a well and pour the yoghurt/oil mixture into the centre.
3. Slowly mix with a spoon until the dough is homogenous. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
4. Form the dough into 6 balls and put on a baking sheet (you can make 12 small ones for snacks if you want). You can brush the tops with the yolk of an egg to make a nice finish.
5. Bake for 30 minutes or until rolls are golden. Eat warm or once cooled to room temperature. These freeze well.
