Introduction
Basic ingredients for lower fat, lower cholesterol, lower sodium easy chili.Serve with rice, or over a baked potato, or alone.

cumin
garlic powder
red pepper powder
onion powder
oregano
black pepper

Directions
Coarse chop onions, dice green pepper. Add all ingredients, except tomato paste. Stir to mix up. Slow Cooker on low for 6 to 7 hours. When done, take off some of the liquid and stir with the tomato paste until well mixed. Before adding it to the slow cooker, taste the chili. Now is a good time to adjust the spices by adding them to the tomato paste mixture, then add it to the pot. Mix, cook for a little longer while you are getting ready to eat. If you like a thinner sauce, add a cup of water.
