Ingredients

    10 oz Ronzoni Smart Taste Penne
    1 cup of water
    1 lb shrimp or chicken slices
    5 cloves of garlic, slivered
    2 lemons, zest set aside & juice set aside
    10 basil leaves
    8 oz fat free sour cream
    1T olive oil
    1/4t pepper
    2T Parmesan cheese

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions.

While pasta is cooking, saute garlic & lemon zest in olive oil. If using shrimp or chicken, add now and cook through. Add in the sour cream , lemon juice and stir in the basil leaves. Cook until melted and slightly thickened. Coat the pasta in the sour cream mixture. If not enough sauce, add in the water to desired texture. Toss with Parmesan cheese & pepper to taste.

    I'm going to give it a try. Only question is, there is no lemon in the calorie calculation and the juice of two lemons seems alot, approx how much lemon juice did you use? - 6/4/10

    Very Good
    Very good. I used shrimp, but I didn't need the water there was plenty of sauce. Next time I think I will add more basil. Thanks! - 8/16/09
