Introduction

Found an old recipe and had to mess with it a bit to make it lower cal (would suggest smaller chicken breasts then what we used, they were REALLY big) Found an old recipe and had to mess with it a bit to make it lower cal (would suggest smaller chicken breasts then what we used, they were REALLY big)
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 Chicken breasts cut in halves (length wise)
    1/3 Cup Chicken Broth
    1/2 pound mushrooms (sliced)
    3 Cloves of gralic (minced)
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp savory
    1/4 cup skim milk
    3 TBSP extra virgin olive oil

Directions

1 - Wash chicken breasts and dry with paper towel

2 - Sprinkle/Rub salt pepper and garlic on chicken

3 - Heat Olive Oil in pan until hot

4 - Place chicken in pan for about 10 minutes, flipping regularly

5 - Add Mushrooms and Chicken broth into pan, and continue turning chicken for about 5 minutes (sauce should be glaze-like)

6 - Add milk and savory - cook until chicken is done

    Wonderful. I added some diced onion and doubled the liquid. Served with sweet potato. DD had rice and had a few bites left over. I tried the topping over the rice, but like it better with the sweet potato. My husband said this one is a keeper. - 12/20/11
