Introduction

I had apples, she had a recipe, but I didn't want to add 3 C of sugar (for the whole recipe). So, when I cut the recipe in half, I just reduced some of the sugar also. Ingredients

    -4 c of pureed apples (I kept the skins on for vitamins)
    -1 c granulated sugar
    -1 T white vinegar
    -1 T ground cinnamon
    -1/4 t ground cloves
    -1/8 t ground allspice

Directions

--Core, cut and puree the apples. Add to the crock pot with the other ingredients and stir well. Cover and turn on high for 3 hours stirring about every 15-20 minutes draining the lid of the liquid and making sure the sides are scraped down.

--Let cool completely and store in an air tight container in the refridgerator for up to 1 month.

--Made about 3 total cups or 48 servings of 1 T each.
