Ingredients

1.5 cups medium grain brown rice
    1.5 cups split mung beans
approx 1 tbsp turmeric (to taste)
    1/2 tbsp ground ginger
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 can Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
    1 tbsp garlic
    2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast (optional)

Directions

Combine all ingredients in the rice cooker's bowl (order does not matter). The nutritional yeast is entirely optional; I just wanted a little hint of cheesy flavor but it's just as good without. Anyway, mix all ingredients together with a spoon or spatula.

Add water until mixture is covered with probably about 3/4inch of water - in my case, I added water up to the 4 cup line for rice preparation.

Turn the rice cooker on. ;) My rice cooker switches to the "warm" (rather than "cook") setting automatically after it senses that all the water is gone; I let it stay on the warm setting for an additional five to ten minutes after it's finished.
