Introduction

Excellent breakfast food to have ready in the fridge for rushed mornings. Excellent breakfast food to have ready in the fridge for rushed mornings.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 cup, steel cut oats or Irish Oats
    1 can, evaporated milk
    2.5 cups water
    .25 cups, dried currants
    1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

Place all ingredients together in crock-pot and simmer on "low" heat for 4 hours. Lift lid and stir once per hour to loosen oats at bottom of pot.

Let cool to a reasonable temperature and put in sealed container in the fridge. Will keep for 4 days.
