Ingredients

    1/4 Cup Canola Oil
    1/4 Cup unsweetened Apple Sauce
    1/2 Cup Splenda Sugar Blend for baking
    2 Eggs beaten
    3 ripe bananas mashed
    1 Cup All Purpose Flour
    1 Cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
    1 Tsp. Baking Soda
    1 /2 Tsp. Baking Powder
    1/4 Tsp. Salt
    3 Tbs. 1% Milk
    1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
    1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
    1 Tsp Orange Zest
    1 Tsp Cinnamon
    1/2 Tsp Allspice
    1/4 Tsp. fresh grated Nutmeg

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.F. Spray a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan with cooking spray and dust with flour. Beat oil and sugar together. Add eggs and applesauce with banana pulp and beat well. Add sifted dr;y ingredients, milk,and vanilla. Mix well and stir in walnuts and orange zest. Pour into pan and bake for about 1 hour. Cool well and store overnight before cutting. Makes 1 loaf or about 18 1/2 inch slices.
